The good folks at Vice’s music site, Noisey.com, had me cover a metal CMJ showcase presented by Invisible Oranges. The bands on the bill covered the spectrum of heavy music. Instrumental post-metal band, Pelican, headlined the showcase that also featured hardcore legends, Ringworm, doom metal maniacs, Primitive Man, black-metal punks, Aksumite and a stunning set by a new stoner-doom-done-right, Hasj.
