When publisher Jeff Dorgay asks you to come on board with music journalism legends such as Ben Fong-Torres (yes, the guy that Almost Famous was based on and was the senior editor at Rolling Stone when it was worth a damn) and Bob Gendron (author/editor/contributor/music historian), you say yes. These three men are heading up a budding new music magazine called ToneAudio. Come 2011, we’ll be expanding our coverage to bring attention to the heavy underground bands that are pushing the boundaries of music.
In the meantime, I was asked to cover The Raincoats performance at the Modern Museum of Art in honor of Women in Modern Photography. Here’s my very first published article:
